Request a Visa
IMSCB should be reachable from anywhere. If you are coming from a country that requires a visa to enter Romania, the congress can support your application with an official Invitation Letter.
Requests close
13 January 2027
Once the deadline passes, no Invitation Letter can be issued for this edition.
Two things decide whether we can write you a letter.
01
You are a student or a resident
Invitation Letters are issued to students and residents attending the congress. They cannot be issued to travel companions.
02
You were born after 1995
Each edition, the congress applies an age cut-off to visa support. For IMSCB 10, the eligibility year limit is 1995.
Four steps, all of them on the platform.
01
Complete the form in "My Account"
The visa request form lives in the "My Account" section of the congress platform. Fill in your details there, in full, before the deadline.
02
Your Invitation Letter is generated
Your Invitation Letter is generated based on the information you provided. Please carefully review your details before submitting, as the letter will reflect them exactly as entered.
03
Apply for the visa yourself
Take the Invitation Letter to the Romanian Embassy or Consulate located in your country, alongside all the other required documents.
04
Start early
Embassy appointments and processing times are outside the congress’s control and are often the longest part of the journey. Register, request your letter, and open your visa application as soon as you know you are coming.
We can support your application. We cannot decide it.
What the congress does
- Issues an official Invitation Letter from IMSCB, generated from the details you submit.
- Makes the request form available in your account once you have marked that you need a visa.
- Sends it to you so you can use it in your visa application.
What it cannot do
- Influence the decision of the Romanian immigration authorities in any way.
- Take responsibility for the visa process itself, or for its outcome.
- Tell you what your own country requires. Check your travelling conditions for Romania well in advance.
Give yourself the time
Registration and the visa request form both live on the congress platform. Create an account there to begin.
