This year, our goal is to connect you directly with some of Romania’s most accomplished researchers and the students working alongside them, so you can gain real insight into what lab work as a student truly involves. In addition, we’re excited to showcase prestigious international scholarships and science competitions designed to fully immerse you in the world of medical research.
At the Science Fair, you’ll have the chance to meet passionate researchers eager to share their knowledge and experience with curious young minds. By the end of the day, we hope you’ll discover the research path that aligns best with your interests and goals.
And because we deeply value hands-on learning in the training of future doctors, you’ll also have the opportunity to practice and develop new skills through fun, interactive activities – some of which involve innovative medical devices and technologies.

Innovation Fair
We are thrilled to announce the very first edition of Innovation Fair, a brand-new event taking place within this year’s Science Fair, developed in collaboration with the Dan Voiculescu Foundation for the Development of Romania. Without their generous support, this initiative would not have been possible. Innovation Fair celebrates creativity, bold ideas, and transformative solutions in medicine, giving medical students and residents the opportunity to become active architects of the future of healthcare.
This year, Innovation Fair focuses on Longevity & Healthy Aging Sciences, an interdisciplinary field exploring ways to extend healthy human life. Participants are invited to present projects within the emerging field of longevity medicine, a proactive and personalized approach to healthcare that aims to extend the healthy years of life by targeting the biological mechanisms of aging.
This includes exploring how cellular resilience, genomic stability, metabolic balance, and immune function can be preserved or enhanced to slow down the aging process. Projects may also focus on advanced diagnostic tools such as genetic and biomarker profiling, as well as personalized interventions, including lifestyle optimization, nutrition, pharmacological approaches, and regenerative or rejuvenation therapies.
The ultimate goal is not only to prevent age-related diseases, but to sustain vitality, functionality, and quality of life throughout the aging process. By participating, young innovators have the opportunity to translate scientific knowledge into practical solutions, all within the dynamic, collaborative environment of the Science Fair.
